FINAL DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD

Audience Feedback

After posting my double page spread on Facebook it was clear that there was a few mistakes in my work such as 'Sing' in the title should have been 'Singer'.
Really nice and clear. I like the layout of the article and how you have arranged it into questions. the one large image one side of the page fits well with the conventions of magazines today. The font for the titles really fun and I like that you have carried it on throughout the magazine, matching the conventions.-Abbie Yapp

Audience Feedback

After posting my music magazine front cover on facebook to get some audience feedback the results I got back were successfull. There were a few mistakes in spelling and gammar which i will chnge post posting my final version of my front cover. it also came apparent that my strapline was not as god and catchy at it could be so I posted an open question to my target readership of what they thought would be a successful strapline. In reply I got a much better strapline: 'Reading any other magazine would be WAY too mainstream'. I felt this was a better strapline and was more catchy as well as fitted with the genre of my magazine well.
Although most comments about my magazien front cover were good.
'Very good just cant see the masthead very clearly! and some bits are too small to read but apart from that very good'- Matt Neal.
'I like the banner at the top which says about the artists, the photo is very good and relastes well to the theme of indie.. the strapline of the masthead tho isn't very seeable when it clashes with the guitar and also the barcode could be slightly smaller'- Alice Roe

Experimenting with colour:

This was my experimentation with the colour scheme of my music magazine. These colours would play a big part in the house style of my magazine and attracting the attention of its potential buyers. I will get some audience feed back on which colour combinations are most popular, eye catching and appropriate for the genre and target audience of the magazine.

(Boy: green, blue, black
Girl: pink, purple, white
Dark: navy blue, red, black
Light: yellow, blue, white
purple, blue, orange
red, blue, green)

Experimenting with fonts:

I experimented with a number of fronts which I downloaded from the website 'da font.com'. I had a general idea of what style of font i wanted for my magazine before I started researching the fonts and I knew that I wanted one that went well with the genre and target audience. I will get some audience feed back on which font they are most attracted to and which is the favourite.
